Fanuc G71 Turning Cycle/ Stock removal Cycle:

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog rajendra31. Today we learn G71 canned cycle. It means, stock removal cycle. This cycle is specially used for rough I.D/O.D turning operations in cnc lathe machine. The format of this cycle is given below:

G71 Uµd Re;

G71 Pns Qnf Uµu Wµw Ff;

Now let's take information about the values used in the format. 

1. Uµd: Depth of cut in the X-axis.
2.  Re: Retract value
3.  Pns: Counter start block number.
4.  Qnf: Counter End block number.
3.  Uµu: Finish allowance in X-axis.
4.  Wµw: Finish allowance on Y-axis.
5.  Ff: Feed rate.
